Catarratto
Catarratto is typically grown in the areas of Palermo, Trapani and Agrigento and can be distinguished into Catarratto Bianco Comune and Catarratto Lucido. It was initially used to be blended with other varieties such as Grillo and inzolia. It is quite challenging to find it as a monovarietal wine, as recently, most cultivations have been abandoned. This Catarratto is a fruity and floral wine, 100% made from Catarratto Lucido grape.
